Andrea Thorlakson is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor, member of Yoga Alliance, and lifelong yogini.
Formerly a certified personal trainer, swim, aerobics & aqua aerobics instructor, Andrea brings a natural rhythm and voice to her classes. Whether it’s through flowing movement or a slow quiet practice like yin, she takes students on a journey. Using the tools of yoga, combined with skillfully selected music and postures, she offers insights and encouragement throughout class. Her intention is to bring wellness to the body and mind, inspiring students toward transformation, and the opportunity to find greater joy and peace both on and off their mat.
Active her whole life, Andrea plans to remain so as long as she is breathing! She's happily married and the proud mother of 2 adult sons. Off her mat, her interests include real estate, vacation property management, traveling, volunteering, photography, and online marketing. No matter where life takes her, she finds balance from her yoga practice.
